  2. Caring About Your Partner
Five practical listening skills so you can hear your partner better and get to the heart of their concern.
  3. Resolving Conflicts: Mapping Issues
Learn an 8-step process to identify and resolve problems together.
  4. Choosing Communication Styles
Recognize four communication styles and identify which style to use in different situations.

The Couple Communication Program began 30 years ago at the University of Minnesota Family Study Center. Extensive research shows that couples that take this program experience more positive communication and have greater satisfaction from their relationship. Even though the program is presented in a couples format, all people can use these skillsets, and are encouraged to attend alone or with a partner.

Should I attend Couple Communication or PREP?

Take both. The knowledge and skills learned complement each other. If possible, take the PREP seminar first to learn basic relationship-management skills and ways to stay safe while still connecting, then take Couple Communication to take the relationship to a deeper level.

The Couple Communication Program recommends taking a PREPARE/ENRICH Inventory before attending this seminar.
